Create an Assignment and Enable Turnitin

Create an Assignment and Enable Turnitin

Here, instructors can learn how to create an assignment and enable the Turnitin integration, and configure the Originality Check and GradeMark functionalities.

1. Once an assignment has been created, click on the Evaluation and Feedback section followed by Manage Turnitin.

2. Select Enable GradeMark for this folder.

3. Select Automatically sync grades as Draft in Brightspace.

4. If you wish to monitor assignment submissions to identify potential cases of plagiarism by comparing the learner’s submissions to a database of original content, check Enable Originality Check for this folder.

5. If you wish to allow learner’s to see their similarity scores for their submitted assignments, check Allow learners to see Turnitin® similarity scores in their assignment submission:

6. Click More Options in Turnitin > Optional Settings to configure additional options and settings.

7. Click Save.
