Video Notes in Brightspace
Video Notes help you add personalized interaction in your course, by recording a brief video within your Brightspace course, using your computer/laptop’s webcam, without the need for special software or downloading/uploading files. Video notes are limited to 3o minutes in length. They can be added anywhere you have access to the HTML text editors, which are found in course activities, course modules’ descriptions, discussions, quizzes and assignment instructions, and more.
Important: Students can record video notes in discussion threads and replies, as well as in other locations where they have access to the HTML editor when creating and submitting work in Brightspace

Brightspace Support question from the September 27 Town Hall
Q: Why is there no immediate support from Brightspace (DLE) Support when it is needed? It has always been necessary to get support via a web appointment, and this takes time.
A: Since the start of COVID, and the move to remote work, DLE technical support has been available by appointment, which can be booked right away if any of the DLE team members are available. It is important to note that demand for support from the DLE team has increased by more than 250% since the beginning of the pandemic. With this increase in demand, the DLE team has been working hard to optimize processes and response times to ensure the highest levels of service. This has included implementing web booking tools, a digital knowledge base with frequently asked questions, and a video library showing solutions to commonly asked questions to enable greater self-service and to maximize the value of in-person supports.
